WOW!!!
Thanks to the Chapter, I was able to attend my first International
Convention in Nashville Tennessee. What an experience. Lots of walking and
lots of new information. Our new Deputy Grand Regent is Doreen Wallace
from Manassas Chapter # 1392. The new theme is "THE TIME IS NOW" and
the symbol is an hourglass. |

"GIMME
5" W.O.T.M. Betty Miller - Chairman Dear Co-workers, Thanks to all of you for making things happen! At our State Conference on July 17, 2010, the "Gimme 5" Chairman for the Commonwealth of Virginia gave her report with 253 co-workers being present, and Manchester-Richmond #1078 was #1 ! She asked that those co-workers present from Manchester-Richmond please stand. We had 11 co-workers in attendance. It was awesome! I was so proud to be a member of Manchester-Richmond. Portsmouth was # 2. The Gimme 5 program ends in April 2010 so please keep your contributions coming and keep us No. 1. We will be having our Bake Sale at the Christmas Bazaar as we have done in the past, and I hope you will be thinking and preparing for this event. We doubled the amount we collected the previous year, so let's see what we can do this time. As always, Thank You for all you do and let's stay # 1 throughout this special program. |
